Would allow for nice integration with things browser history (like frequently visited pages) and keeping logged into things.

Seems like app.setPath would allow for this with either appData or userData

Tested setting path to the chrome path listed in chrome://version but didn't work.

FWIW, though if you do sign in to something like Gmail you stay signed in with subsequent opens so the normal browser session storage does work.
