Does Zed have a feature like VSCode where you click the run (or compile and run) button and the software is automatically ran

Hi al, is the only way to run code in Zed via changing directory in the terminal and running it inside the terminal or is there a button I can press?

I wonder the same. I use Geany,.
This feature is a must for an IDE.

I could be great if that could be done without even setting anything, as Zed could detect the language and compile accordingly.

There are https://zed.dev/docs/tasks for certain languages that provide them + you can define your own.

Those are not coming with a button to click, but with a keybinding to press.

no i mean, having the tasks connected to a button in the gui. forgot to add that part. basically just provide default tasks that are most popular for the languages and a "run code" button

can it be made into a button? also, does that work for every language? also, when i press that it only lets me pick one option, it doesnt open the box ever again, im just stuck with that option on loop.
