It'd be great if there were the ability to prevent the keyboard from auto-connecting without my explicit command. For example, if I have two BT profiles and one disconnects, it automatically switches to the other, even if I use the Disconnect Profile command. Also, disconnecting a profile shouldn't immediately reconnect to that same profile.

The second part ("disconnecting a profile shouldn't immediately reconnect to that same profile") is duplicate of #1998.

#2081 is related to the auto-connect in general.
