Language Translation

Cytopia uses Transifex to make translation easier. We have two projects, Cytopia and TileData Editor. To start translating, sign in to Transifex, visit our project, and click the button that says "Join Team."

The button will open up a window with a dropdown menu of the available languages in the project for you to select which language you want to translate for. If your language isn't listed, click the button that says "Request language" at the bottom of the project page, and this will add the language to the project once the developers accept the request.

After your language is added, it should appear in the dropdown menu and you can start translating. All you have to do is translate each string, and once the translation is 100% complete, the Transifex bot will automatically generate the necessary files and add them to the repository, so no coding knowledge is required!
