I’m currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland in Dr Travis Gallo's lab. We are working on spatiotemporal distributions of white-tailed deer and humans using camera trap data and human mobility data. I got my PhD in Applied Ecology at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in January of 2022. My dissertation was on Anthropogenic effects on ocelot populations in the Maya Biosphere Reserve in Guatemala.
I'm a Carnivore Ecologist who also dabbles a little into Quantitative Ecology. I love to know everything that happens under the hood of statistical models and analysis. I love everything there is about R and I enjoy learning new ways to make my code more efficient and my graphs more aesthetically pleasing.
