Alternative Telemachus Interfaces

Telemachus is primarily an API which allows for the retrieval of data from and interaction with KSP, and as such it was always hoped that other projects would spawn utilising this API. Projects providing alternative interfaces did spring up, both those providing alternative software interfaces, and those using Telemachus to display KSP data on hardware. Some of these projects are listed below.

  • Kerminal (GitHub, KSP Forums) - Terminal user interface written in python.

  • Primary Flight Display (KSP Forums) - Web based interface, including 2D navigation ball.

  • KeRD (GitHub, KSP Forums) - OpenGL Kerbal Remote Display that runs in the browser

  • mkon (GitHub) - Modular control panel UI for Telemachus.

  • Hardware Navigation Ball (KSP Forums)

  • Hardware Flight Computer (Kotaku)

  • Nausicaa (GitHub) - Google Glass client for the Telemachus plugin to Kerbal Space Program

  • Hardware Instruments (rooreynolds)

  • basaGC (GitHub, KSP Forums) - Apollo Guidance Computer for KSP written in python.

  • PYKSP (GitHub, KSP Forums) - Python wrapper for Telemachus.
