Welcome to the Rock-Checkin wiki!
If you are using a Mobile Device Management system you probably want to read the MDM page to find out what configuration options are available.
The in-app settings screen can be reached by doing a 5-finger long press on the screen. This gives you access to the same settings you can get to in the Apple Settings application, but it also provides a couple helpful features.
Bluetooth Low Energy browser. If you are using a BLE printer with Rock you need to enter the name of the printer in the Printer Override. Since the name of the printer might not be easy to remember or type in, the in-app settings screen includes a browser that will show all BLE devices in range and allow you to pick which one you want.
Related to that, there is a "Print Test Label" button at the bottom of the screen. This feature only works if you are doing BLE printing or TCP printing with a client printer override value set. The app cannot print a test label to a printer defined on the Rock server. This button provides a simple way to ensure that your iPad is talking to your printer correctly without having to go through the check-in process. It also takes any server (mis-)configuration out of the question in regards to when/where labels will print after check-in.
