+<p>With lua and the Awesome API, one can craft a complete desktop environment suited to their tastes. The only imposed limits are derived from one's battle with their persistence and ability to find examples of similar implementations on Github. Few window managers open up the possiblity of extending the window manager into a complete Desktop Environment as easily as AwesomeWM and of those that do I am unaware of any other that also includes as many functions available through API calls that reflect as wide of a set of potential programming and organization styles as is presently part of AwesomeWM by default.  </p>
