Moviefy - Open Source Next.js App

Moviefy is an open-source Next.js application that allows users to browse and play videos of TV shows. The app fetches data from the YouTube API to retrieve information about TV shows and provides a seamless video playback experience.

Installation

To run the Moviefy app locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository from GitHub:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/moviefy.git

cd moviefy

npm install

OR

yarn

Obtain a YouTube API key

  1. Visit the Google Cloud Console.
  2. Create a new project or select an existing project.
  3. Enable the YouTube Data API.
  4. Create an API key.
  5. Copy the API key.

Configure the YouTube API key

  1. create .env file in a root.
  2. give NEXT_PUBLIC_YOUTUBE_API_KEY = YOUR_YOU_TUBE_API

Start the development server

npm run dev

Start the development server

Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to see the app in action.
