Beta Release 3
This update primarily contains smoothness improvements and bug fixes.
Videos links from YouTube are now normalized so that the cache will recognize the same video in different link formats. The Autoq will no longer use its own output as training data, and various other tweaks to improve the listening experience. The issue with songs losing quality at the start is also fixed now.
Chainbreak probability is now configurable via a flag, instead of in the code.
At this point I'm mostly satisfied with the core logic. Expect to see the lightweight web interface coming soon. After that I'll implement Soundcloud. Next will be playlist support, but there are quite a few architectural questions involved in that.
Beta Release 2
Uta Stream is now actually usable. This version supports:
- Adding to queue via Youtube/IPFS
- Playback by multiple clients
- Checking the queue contents
The main changes over Beta 1 are improved stability/performance and the addition of being able to check the queue and see song names.
This version also comes packaged with Windows and Linux binaries for amd64 architecture.
