I got it to work. I think I had 2 problems (that I know of at least)
1 - I didn't have autosave on so when I was compiling the code I am going to assume that it defaults to what is already saved when compiling and nothing new that hasn't been saved won't be compiled (I dont know if this is true but a hunch)
2- The larger issue, after compiling it, when I would make changes, I believe I had to delete the Tallyer.Class that was created with the former(s) compile and initiate the new class again so that when I execute the code it will run the most up to date version.
This is purely me putting thoughts onto paper, don't know if there is any truth but keeping this to look back on later.
