Site Creation

This site was created from the WordPress OpenshiftEvangelists github page. The README file details how to set the build up. If the team needs to create custom themes, it is recommended to use the ‘classic-repository’ template, and hook it up to a github page.

Maintenance

There are very few plugins on this site, and this is done on purpose. Most plugins are developed independently by third parties, making it difficult to assess their security vulnerabilities. Keep this site up to date through the dashboard, and minimize the introduction of new plugins.

Data Backup

• Command-line syntax can be found here
• Navigate to OpenShift web interface
• Select the MEM (tools) project
• Navigate to Applications > Pods
• Select the internal docs db pod
• Navigate to the terminal
• Run the commands as per the link above
• Save the dump directly to the OpenShift pod, then retrieve it using OpenShift’s command line interface or similar.
