+Am 25. November haben wir unsere offizielle Eröffnung mit Freunden des DD-IX und lokalen und überregionalen Internetakteuren gefeiert. Die Veranstaltung fand im SachsenEnergieCenter in der Nähe des Dresdner Hauptbahnhofs statt.

+Wir möchten uns bei unseren Vortragenden Vint Cerf, Christian Dieckhoff, Thomas Eibeck, Prof. Thomas Horn, Marc Korthaus, Mirjam Kühne, Prof. Thomas Popp, Prof. Matthias Wählisch und Markus Ziehe
+für ihre Vorträge und Grußworte bedanken. Herzlichen Dank auch an die vielen Unterstützer im Hintergrund und die SachsenGigaBit GmbH für die Räumlichkeiten und Speis und Trank. Danke Thomas Wild, Kerstin Fiering und Tatjana Schiehandl für die tolle Zusammenarbeit bei der Organisation! Eine besondere Überraschung haben uns René Fichtmüller, Michael Nitsche, Thomas Weible, Sebastian Neuner, Tim Kleefass, Kurt Jaeger und Moritz Frenzel beschert: Zwei brandneue Arista-Switche, die uns bei der weiteren Entwicklung des DD-IX enorm helfen wird. Danke!

We would also like to thank all those who supported us in the background, such as Thomas Wild, Kerstin Fiering, Tatjana Schiehandl, and SachsenGigaBit GmbH, who allowed us to use their location and provided food and drinks.
