  • Whistleblower The person reporting through globaleaks.

  • Receiver The entity that is receiver of the information submitted by the whistleblower.

  • Node A system running GLBackend Globaleaks software.

  • Node Administrator The person that runs the GlobaLeaks node.

  • Submission This is what a whistleblower does to notify the receivers of some sort of malpractice. This action includes filling out a FORM and uploading some files.

  • Tip The name of a single submission inside the GlobaLeaks system.

  • Notification The system that is used to inform the receiver that a new submission, comment or file exists on the globaleaks Node.

  • Delivery The means through which the receivers obtain the data that is submitted to the Node by the whistleblower.
