Overview

PartyGa.me is a colossal Cards Against Humanity-esque multiplayer game built on Meteor. Check out METHODS.md, MILESTONE.md and SUBSCRIPTIONS.md for information about how to interact with the API using a non-DDP client.

This game features:

• Over 1,000 original funny answer and question cards.
• Bots! You can't believe what a huge difference this makes.
• A fully browser-based mobile interface
• Location-based matchmaking
• Social invites through Facebook
• A full DDP API for making your own super-high-performance iOS, Android and Unity apps.

Known Issues

• Updating to Meteor 0.8.0 has broken a lot of the niceties of the site, particularly around the JQueryMobile features. This means a lot of view look broken on data updates right now, which is too bad. Those used to look really good.
• router has been disabled, which means invitations are disabled.
• meteor-http-publish doesn't work with 0.8.0 yet, so the collections API has been disabled.

Installation

To run:

You will have to configure your settings.json. Check it out for instructions on how to set it up. APNS is pretty useful but unessential.

API

Authentication

Open a Javascript console and execute Accounts._storedLoginToken(). This string is the token for the logged in user. Use this as the token parameter when making API calls.

Encoding

The response headers have the wrong encoding. Interpret the bytes as UTF-8.
