Submission Guidelines for DCAT‐AP CH Issues

mispichtig edited this page May 16, 2024 · 2 revisions

Problems that arise or suggestions for new functionalities can be submitted as issues in the DCAT-AP CH repository on GitHub. Issue authors must register for a free user account by clicking "Sign up for GitHub" on the GitHub home page.

To submit an issue, click on the "Issues" tab when you are logged into the DCAT-AP CH repository (https://github.com/opendata-swiss/dcat_ap_ch/) and then click on the green "New issue" button.

Give the issue a short but meaningful title, e.g. the class or property to which the issue relates. You should also include as much information as possible in the issue description, e.g:

  • name and/or affiliation of the author
  • Portal, service or software product presented or affected
  • clear and concise description of the problem or requirement
  • Proposed solution, if available
  • Link to the class/property or section, screenshot (if helpful)

This information helps the operational team from the eCH Working Group Open Government Data to categorise the problem as a bug fix, minor semantic problem or major semantic problem.
