This is the first beta release of the openHAB 2 add-ons. Please note that since release, the repository only contains the add-ons from now on.
The whole runtime and distribution has moved to https://github.com/openhab/openhab-distro.

2.0.0 alpha2 release

This is the second alpha release for openHAB 2, released on May 25, 2015.

See the according milestone for issues that are part of this release.

The biggest features of this new alpha release are the stabilized compatibility layer and the long list of "new" bindings.

2.0.0 alpha1 release

This is the very first alpha release of openHAB 2 - it is not meant to be used productively, but rather as a kind of technology preview.

There are some important changes and known limitations.
