If you found asciimatics useful, why not share your results with others in this wiki? I have found that asciinema makes life incredibly easy to record and publish ASCII animations.
The MusicPlayerPlus project includes several asciimatics animations.
A video of one of them, based on the credits.py sample, doesn't add a lot in terms of asciimatics effects or renderers
but does add an audio track by executing MPlayer from within the asciimatics script. It also adds signal handling to
fade the audio on exit and illustrates how to communicate with MPlayer in slave mode via a named pipe. I wrote a wiki
