I only visit the US perhaps once a year, but as it happens I'll be in the bay area 4-11 Feb. Do you have a date/location in mind? |
@ctz and I talked and 2/9 might work. @brson: can we get that day reserved? @isislovecruft, would you want to talk then about your work? |
Note: You spelled both @isislovecruft and curve25519-dalek wrongly. I could probably do this around the same time as @ctz is available. Particularly that Thursday or Friday sounds good. |
@ctz: what do you want to title your talk? I'll announce it after you let me know. Thanks @briansmith! I fixed the links. And that'd be great if you could speak. Will you be in town? What would you like to use for the title of your talk? |
Ehhhm. "rustls: a modern, pure-rust TLS library"? I ought to think about what to actually talk about :) |
We got 2/9 locked in. @tarcieri also said he'd speak about macaroons or objecthash. @briansmith, please confirm if you want to talk by 5pm PST, which is when I plan to announce the meetup. I can always add you afterwards if I don't hear from you, but it'd be nice to include you when we go live. |
Reminder to put this on the community calendar |
@frewsxcv: thanks for reminding me! done! |
@ctz: Hello! Ready for Thursday? How long do you expect to speak for? |
Yes, I think so. Probably 20-25 minutes plus questions. |
@erickt: hopefully I will make it but caltrain is badly broken 😞 |
@Bascule suggested another crypto-themed day. Possible projects/speakers:
