Volumes

Volumes are exactly what they sound like. They're LUN objects created in the XtremIO learned from the API. Once in the system you can access them from the Volumes menu.

Once you've selected a volume, you can see the % allocated against the volume represented as a tachometer in the top left. In the bottom right, you can change:

  • Whether the volume is enabled for snapshot management
  • Whether it is enabled for statistics collection
  • The DataType for the volume
