In the Album browser you can explore your music collection using basically the covers of the albums.
Clicking the button a magnifying glass opens a filter editor similar to the Dynamic Playlist editor, where you can define what albums you want to see. The Filter button toggles the filter and also invokes the filter editor if none is defined yet.
You can find any album quickly using the search feature which searches in the Artist, Album Name and Album Artist fields.
The combo box on the right of the search field can be used to order the albums based on different criteria:
- Name: By album name, ascending
- Year: By year, ascending
- Year Desc.: By year, descending
- Artist, Name: By artist name ascending and then by album name, ascending
- Artist, Year: By artist name ascending and then by year, ascending
- Artist, Year Desc.: By artist name ascending and then by year, descending
- Added time: By added date, descending
