What Next? May 2023
After a very long break due to COVID, we began the meeting by welcoming new attendees and familiarising ourselves with the new venue - the SPACE4 coworking space near Finsbury Park.
After a round of introductions and the realisation that we'd forgotten to organise snacks, we began by speaking generally about what we each want to get out of Computation Club. The sentiment was predominantly that we'd like to work through somewhat difficult material together and have fun building things and engaging with the material.
After much discussion we each wrote down ideas for topics onto post-its and then did a round of dot voting to shortlist them. This was the result:
Since we were a relatively small number (six of us), we decided not to decide on the topic in the meeting, instead preferring to open the vote on Slack to give those who couldn't attend a chance to have their say.
Thank you to Theo for hosting and to all those who contributed suggestions.
